The S-400 air defense systems sold to Turkey turned out to be defective.
The Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems put into service with Turkey turned out to be completely different in comparison with those systems that are in service with the Russian army. According to the data presented by the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, the Triumphs sold to Turkey use different equipment and the principle of detecting and engaging targets, and with open interference in the systems of these Russian weapons, it is unlikely that it will be possible to obtain any information about Russian weapons.
Russian military expert Alexei Valyuzhenich, in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets, emphasized that the S-400 air defense systems in service with Ankara are far from the best and are very different from the air defense systems that are in the possession of the Russian military.
“When modern weapons are exported, we always take into account the possibility that they will fall into the hands of a potential enemy. Nobody sends the very best for sale. As an example – the S-400 anti-aircraft systems delivered to Turkey, which in their functionality are inferior to those that cover our airspace , ”the expert said in an interview with the Russian newspaper.
Valyuzhenich did not specify any details, however, according to official data, the export version of the S-400 air defense system does not exist
