Turkey announces full offensive attack on Syria in 72 hours

Turkey has given 72 hours for the Syrian Democratic Forces to leave Manbij and Tel Rifat. After that turkey will launch full-scale offensive attack on Syria.

The Turkish authorities said that the Syrian Democratic Forces had exactly 72 hours to withdraw their units from Manbij and Tel Rifat in order to avoid serious crashes. In fact, we are talking about an ultimatum, after which the Turkish side begins an offensive operation in the region.

According to Ark News, Ankara and Moscow agreed that if the Syrian Democratic Forces leave these cities, then Turkey will not escalate, however, otherwise, the Turkish army and militants, with a total number of 30 thousand people will start advancing in the direction of these cities.

A well-informed Syrian Kurdish source, on Thursday, revealed, that Ankara, in agreement with Moscow, will direct a 72-hour deadline for the YPG and QSD to withdraw from the Manbij area and Tel Rif’at town in the countryside of Aleppo, and hand it over to the Syrian regime, before the start of the possible Turkish military operation.

The Syrian source said that Turkey will give the YPG, which it considers part of the PKK, 72 hours to withdraw with all its equipment from Manbij and Tal Rifaat and hand it over to the Syrian regime.

He added: There is an agreement between Ankara and Moscow to pressure the PYD forces to hand over the area to the regime and to expel the YPG and QSD from northern Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory had stated, on Thursday, that the forces of the Manbij Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) prevented a convoy of the Syrian regime’s militants from entering the areas of influence of the Military Council in the countryside of Manbij and heading towards points of contact with the areas of influence of the Turkish forces and the factions loyal to them.

At the moment, the Russian side has not reported any agreements with Turkey, however, it has recently become known that Ankara has not yet launched an offensive due to the fact that Moscow categorically opposes the military operation.
