Russia’s S-400 long-range air defense system, the much-anticipated weapon, opened fire against Ukraine’s weapons, shooting down three ballistic missiles and six large Tu-143 UAVs.
Russia has once again demonstrated its strong and tight air defense capabilities in action. On July 4, the Russian Defense Ministry publicly stated that Ukrainian combat forces used Tochka-U ballistic missiles with cluster munitions and Tu-143 attack drones to attack Belgorod and Kurdish regions of Russia.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine’s deliberate attacks were carried out on residential areas in the Belgorod and Kurdish regions, although there are not any military facilities there.
According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian air defense forces used S-400 air defense missiles, directly shot down all 3 missiles launched towards Belgorod and 6 attack drones were also destroyed and turned into scrap.
In response to Russian air strikes on Kyiv, Ukraine risks triggering a larger conflict. With backstage support and threats from the US, UK and other Western countries, Ukraine launched an attack on Russian territory without hesitation.
According to reports, the recent Ukrainian strikes, in comparison to their previous direct attacks on military installations situated on Russian soil, directly hit civilian areas with missiles, which are empty of any military facilities.
But Ukraine never thought that even residential areas without military facilities would still be under the protection of Russia’s very powerful anti-aircraft and anti-missile forces.
According to official information provided by the Russian Air Defense Missile Forces, at about 3 am on the morning of July 4, the radar of the Russian air defense forces suddenly detected a number of unidentified targets, flying directly into the territory of the Russian Federation.
The units immediately entered combat mode and quickly launched more than a dozen S-400 anti-aircraft missiles at the locked target, accurately destroying all incoming targets, including 3 ballistic missiles and 6 attack drones, completely repelling Ukraine’s targeted attack.
The anti-aircraft battle against Tochka-U ballistic missiles and heavy unmanned attack aircraft of the Russian air defense forces, fully reflects the extremely advanced air defense posture, and perfect and full capabilities of the Russian air defense and missile defense forces.
In order to prevent long-range missile and heavy UAV attacks by Ukraine on Russian territories, the Russian Army not only deploys hundreds of anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems including S-300, S- 400, Pantsir-S1…with thousands of anti-aircraft missiles in the Ukrainian border area.
In addition to increasing deterrence, more than 20 strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear missiles and dozens of ballistic missiles capable of hitting the whole of Europe of the Russian Aerospace Forces have been deployed.
According to the key point of nuclear war just announced by Russia, once Russia’s territory is hit by a missile, be it a nuclear missile or a conventional missile, it will be considered a nuclear attack by Moscow.
Fortunately, all ballistic missiles launched by Ukraine this time were shot down, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable, Ukraine should consider this carefully. The point of nuclear war announced by Russia is not only to scare people; especially in the current conflict situation.
