On the territory of the Kherson region, the Russian S-300 air defense system launchers were destroyed by Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery.
Considered one of the most effective means of air defense, the S-300 Favorit complexes could not successfully repel a missile attack and were destroyed. The air defense systems were in a state of combat readiness, as evidenced by the rockets raised to a vertical position.
On the presented video frames, you can see two destroyed army trucks, which, quite likely, could carry out the transfer of manpower and missiles of the S-300 air defense system, as well as two destroyed mobile launchers of the S-300 systems. The modification of the latter is still unknown, however, judging by the damage received by the complexes, the latter cannot be restored.

Judging by the destruction of vehicles and launchers, the strike could have been delivered by missiles with a cluster warhead, for example, from the Grad MLRS, however, the fact that the attack was not repelled in a timely manner raises a number of questions regarding the effectiveness of such weapons. The exact area of the destruction of the complexes is not disclosed.
According to the information provided by the source, the complexes were destroyed on July 24, 2022, i.e. in fact, a few hours ago, however, at the moment no official statements have been made on this subject yet.
According to some sources, it was the same air defence system that fired 7 missiles earlier port and industry infrastructure in Mykolaiv, Ukraine.
