Tonight, a series of strikes were inflicted on the territory of Shebekino in the Belgorod Region. According to Russian military correspondents, at least 15 explosions thundered on the territory of Shebekino and the Shebekinsky district, which became one of the most massive attacks on the Belgorod region in 2023.
On video footage taken by local residents, you can hear powerful claps that thundered across the territory of the Belgorod region tonight. Initially, it was reported that there were no casualties and no damage.
However, this morning, the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said there was damage to residential buildings due to the shelling.
“This night, the city of Shebekino came under the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There were no casualties. As a result of the door-to-door walk around the territory, various destructions were recorded in 12 private households and 2 cars.
The power transmission tower was also damaged, and emergency teams are reconnecting it. Full restoration of power supply is planned by 12:00,”– said Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to preliminary data, the attacks on the Belgorod region were carried out using mortars.
