No casualties were reported.

This is the first encounter between the two countries’ troops on the border with Arunachal Pradesh after violent clashes with Chinese troops in the Gulwan Valley last year. Sources said that peace and friendship between the two countries have been maintained in compliance with existing agreements and protocols related to the border area.

He said that in general, the two forces regularly patrol their territories according to their own ideas and whenever the troops of the two countries face each other in person, the situation is resolved according to established protocol and system established by both sides. ۔ After the issue is resolved, the two countries’ troops return to their respective territories. It is to be noted that some reports had said that the Indian Army had detained some Chinese soldiers in Arunachal Pradesh in the past.
