Five Advantage Of Rafale On Chinese J-20

We list the five advantages of Indian airforce new aircraft Rafale against the J20.

India has been using advanced Russian fighter aircraft for many years, the Indian Air Force ushered in a more refined Rafale fighter is naturally full of joy, after the Indian Air Force said the Rafale is a can “change the balance of air power” fighter, recently listed the five advantages of wind gusts, the Rafale aircraft combat can not only against any four and five, compared with the J-20 these five advantages are also very obvious. So what are the five advantages of wind gusts, and is the top gain on the J20? Let’s compare one by one.

1.Light performance advantages.

Rafale Fighter has a maximum flight speed of Mach 1.8 and a supersonic cruising capability. The speed of the rafale is a medium-sized level in modern fighter aircraft, and the supersonic cruise is the big game-changer in the air-load editing state, compared with the J20, which is now more likely to have a super-patrol capability. The slender ratio of the J20 fuselage, the lift body edge wing, the built-in rebound silo, the simple appearance and so on have created the conditions for the super-patrol,  the J20 is currently unable to carry out a 1.6 Mach super-patrol like the F22, but has the ability to cruise more than Mach 1. Even j-20 stealth not work properly because of poor and stolen design by Chinese from different aircraft .

2.The weapon performance advantage.

The Indian Air Force has ordered the Meteor medium- and long-range air-to-air missile for Rafale fighter, which can take advantage of its long-range and precision to fight stealth fighters. The missile has a range in excess of 100km. Meteor is estimated to have a range of 250-300 km with ballistic flight path.  It is designed for a speed greater than Mach 4. The missile has a large no escape zone (almost 60 Km). The missile trajectory is controlled aerodynamically using four rear-mounted fins. Meteor’s control principles are intended to allow high turn rates while maintaining intake and propulsion performance. Also, it equipped with MICA Air to air missile. The Meteor air-to-air missile is outperforming the PL-12 and Chinese latest PL-15. The PL-15 uses a dual pulse engine with a maximum range of more than 200 kilometres, but we never see any Chinese missile in action so cant trust blindly on their claim.


The Rafale fighter service in Libya, Iraq and other battlefields with the test of the actual combat, this is not available in the J20. J-20 really has no experience, but the Rafale fighter stake in several wars, without exception, are one-sided situation, even China deployed their so-called 5th gen. aircraft near India and Taiwan border but it was easily detected by both country radar.

4.Technologically advanced.

IAF Rafale fighter aircraft using advanced radar, avionics system, the Indian Air Force Rafale in the avionics technology have an huge advantage. Rafale is equipped with RBE2 / AESA – “ACTIVE ELECTRONICALLY SCANNED ARRAY” RADAR ,FSO , SPECTRA EW , NET CENTRIC CAPABILITY , TALIOS – TARGETING AND LASER DESIGNATION POD , AREOS – RECCE POD WITH QUICK ANALYSIS CAPABILITY . The range of Rafale radar is 260 km and the J20 equipped with a systematic battlefield situational awareness system and Type 1475/KLJ-5 (AESA) radar .

5.Combat function comprehensive.

Rafale can be air-to-air, ground-to-sea attack, combat function is very comprehensive, this is better than the J-20, The J-20 is designed to execute ground attack missions even in hostile environments. The aircraft can reach higher altitudes with its delta wings in supersonic speeds. But now its unable to fire missile with subsonic speed also facing engine problem.

Rafale is a twin-jet combat aircraft manufactured by Dassault Aviation and is capable of carrying out a wide range of short and long-range missions. It can be used to perform ground and sea attacks, reconnaissance, high-accuracy strikes and nuclear strike deterrence.
