Tensions between India and China show no sign of abating because of Chinese bad attitude and repeated infiltration to the Indian region
There has been a major force build-up of Chinese tanks and infantry forces in the South Pangong region of Eastern Ladakh and trying every day to infiltrate Indian territory so in the response of Chinese attack Indian army seized the initiative and gained control of several key heights in the area on August 30. But it given the range of their guns, Chinese artillery would be located in ‘depth’ positions, more than twenty kilometres away from the Line of Actual Control.
After several failed infiltration by Chinese army Indian Army also deployed a tank regiment on the plains between Lake Spangul and Chushule, which is also near the end of August when China violated Indian territory and clashed with Indian army and lost many soldiers.
According to Chinese media, “the Indian army occupied the commanding heights, possession of land, coupled with the garrison heavily armed, with tanks and fire support, Chinese tanks and mechanized infantry were unable to continue to advance”.
In addition, India’s “Special frontier Forces” (SFF) and other forces in the country have an advantage in the mountain area, which also gives India a dominant position.
SFF was created on November 14, 1962, by Jawaharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of the country, on the advice of the then IB Chief Bhola Nath Mullik. The unit was created after the 1962 Sino-India war. The SFF unit is also known as the ‘Establishment 22’ .
On August 31st the Indian military’s soldiers capture major area, the incident happened after Chinese army to enter Indian territory .
Why did the Indian army suddenly take action?
Shi Jiang yue, a commentator for the Asia-Pacific Daily, believes that SFF has become the key to interpreting the Indian military movement on the hunan shore of Bangong. He said the force meant that Indian Prime Minister Naodi and his cabinet were eager to create bargaining chips for Indians on the deadlocked China-India border, thereby satisfying Indian national sentiment and pandering to their fantasies of “Indian troops can defeat Chinese troops” and “Aksaichin is India”.
Shi Jiang-moon also pointed out that the comprehensive strength of China and India has long opened the gap, India’s strength in the Banggong Lake area and even in the China-India border is far less than China’s. They haven’t been able to resist active provocation lately because they’re really in a hurry.
Also Both the IAF and the Chinese Air Force have deployed electronic warning and support aircraft in the region. It is unclear if the Chinese are performing round-the-clock fighter sweeps in the region.
The situation along the LAC is “slightly tense”, Army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said recently, adding that “we have undertaken some precautionary deployments for our own safety and security”. “In view of the situation, we have undertaken some precautionary deployments for our own safety and security. These deployments, we undertook along the LAC,” Army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said today, referring to the de facto border with China.
India always want to make peace with their neighbour country but country like China never understand peace they only humiliating other country but they should remember that India is not a small country like Taiwan or other south Asia country.
China’s Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe told Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Moscow on Friday said that India was “entirely” responsible for the border tensions and China would not give up “an inch of its territory”, Chinese media reported on Saturday.
