Israeli aircraft suspected of being attacked by electronic warfare systems near the Syrian border

Recently, the Israeli military flew aircraft near the border of Lebanon and Syria, apparently to gather information for further airstrikes on Syria.

However, the operation of the Israeli military aircraft was strongly interfered with by an electronic warfare system, jamming the aircraft and preventing it from performing its mission.

In the image below, you can see the process of performing a reconnaissance mission of Israeli military aircraft. The sudden change in position of this aircraft indicates strong electronic coercion, which can only be exercised from Syrian territory. This shows that Damascus is beginning to provide multi-layered protection for its army, in which electronic warfare units are linked together for this purpose.

The Syrian army is equipped with an electronic warfare system, and the Iranian army has it as well. However, the Russian electronic warfare system, located at the Khmeimim airbase and the naval base in Tartus, is arguably the most powerful.
