Russia said on Monday that it had destroyed S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems which had been supplied to Ukraine by a European country by using Kalibr cruise missile.
The Russian Navy ship carried out four strikes on the positional areas of the Ukrainian S-300 air defense systems. As a result of a massive salvo of cruise missiles completely destroyed the air defence position of Ukraine. Data on this subject is provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“High-precision sea-launched Kalibr missiles destroyed the equipment of a S-300 anti-aircraft missile division which had been delivered to the Kyiv regime by a European country,” the ministry said.

In the video footage presented, you can see the moment of four strikes by Kalibr cruise missiles from a Russian warship. It is known that the strike was carried out simultaneously on several targets, which, firstly, ensured the high efficiency of suppressing Ukrainian air defense systems, and secondly, significantly complicated the process of intercepting cruise missiles.
It is known that strikes by Russian Caliber cruise missiles hit the Mykolaiv region (the position area of the S-300 air defense system was located near the settlement of Starobogdanovka) and the Kharkiv region (the position area of the S-300 air defense system was located at the Chuguev airfield).

It is known that the S-300 air defense system was officially transferred to Ukraine by only one European country- Slovakia. However, the Russian Defense Ministry does not confirm the fact that it was the Slovak systems that were destroyed.
But later Slovakia officially denied the destruction of the S-300 air defense system previously transferred to Ukraine, and the Russian Ministry of Defense could not confirm that the destroyed complex was Slovak, there were serious suspicions that the foreign complex could have been secretly transferred by Bulgaria.
Among the European countries that provide support to Ukraine, only Slovakia and Bulgaria have S-300 air defense systems. This does not exclude the possibility that it was Bulgaria that could secretly transfer its air defense systems to Ukraine, since it became known earlier that the United States transferred its Patriot complexes to the territory of Bulgaria.
