HIMARS
HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is a highly mobile, lightweight multiple rocket launcher system developed by Lockheed Martin. It is designed to be air-transportable and can be deployed by land or sea.
HIMARS can launch various rockets and missiles, including the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), a precision-guided munition that can be used for various missions, including close support, counterbattery fire, and interdiction.
HIMARS can also launch the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), a long-range, surface-to-surface missile used for deep strike missions. HIMARS is equipped with a six-rocket launcher and can be reloaded while on the move.
It is also equipped with an automated fire control system and can be remotely operated. The United States military and several other countries use HIMARS. It has been used in several conflicts, including in Afghanistan and Iraq.
