Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle which was gifted by Australia to Ukraine already been inducted into Ukraine and can be seen soon on the frontline soon.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces displayed a recently delivered Bushmaster protected mobility vehicle, which was donated by the Australian Government.
Ukrainian Soldiers shared a short video showing an Australian-built 4×4 Bushmaster vehicle.
The Australian Government has gifted 20 Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles, including two ambulance variants, to aid the Government of Ukraine’s response to Russia’s unrelenting and illegal aggression. The supply of the vehicles has been a direct response following President Zelenskyy’s request for Bushmasters made during his address to a joint sitting of the Parliament of Australia on 31 March 2022.

Besides Bushmaster armor vehicle Australia also gave 6 x M777 Howizters + ammunition , 70,000 tonnes of thermal coal for power generation and $46m USD in humanitarian aid.
The Australian-built Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle is designed to safely move soldiers to a battle area prior to dismounting for close combat.
The vehicle is well suited to provide protection to the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and Ukrainian civilians against mines and improvised explosive devices, shrapnel from artillery and small arms fire
Bushmaster is combat proven and has been successfully deployed by three armies on operations in a number of regions including the Middle East, Africa and the Pacific. On-going design enhancement, a wide range of user selectable mission equipment and mature through life support have ensured that Bushmaster continues to meet evolving customer requirements.
- Bushmaster is an 11-tonne, 4×4 protected vehicle with a 4-tonne payload, designed to perform a diverse range of mission profiles. Variants include troop carrier, command, patrol, support, weapons deployment and ambulance.
- Bushmaster is designed and built to protect up to 10 occupants, combining high levels of blast and ballistic protection with excellent off-road mobility.
- In service with six countries on four continents, Bushmaster has proven performance in protecting and saving lives during operations.\
It can be equipped with remote weapon station up to 12.7mm HMG or 40mm AGM launcher, or manned open turret up to 12.7mm HMG or 40mm AGM launcher. For secondary armament it can be equipped with Manned swing mounts up to 7.62mm (one front and two rear).
The vehicle has an operational range of 800 km while it can reach 100 km/h of maximum speed. The vehicle weight around 11 ton to 15 ton.
